It depends on the type and grade of licence you are applying for. Motorsport UK may require a doctor’s medical, an ECG, a vision test or a combination of these assessments. All applicants must also complete an annual medical self-declaration, so check the current Motorsport UK requirements before booking.
Yes, in many cases you may still be able to have a motorsport medical if you have an existing condition. Mr Pierre Nasr will review your medical history and assess your general fitness, but Motorsport UK may request further information from you, your GP or a specialist before making a decision about your licence.
